Nutrition Assessment Lab
Nutrition Assessment Lab: which functions as both a classroom and a lab. Students utilize the equipment in the lab to complete a comprehensive nutrition assessment on a lab partner. Equipment includes:
- Anthropometric Assessment Equipment,
- Inbody 570 Machine for body composition assessment
- REEvue Metabolic Rate Machine for resting energy expenditure measurement
- Industry quality scales and stadiometer
- Dynamometer for measuring hand grip strength
- Veggie Meter for measuring skin carotenoids
22 student desks and chairs can be moved around to configure the space for partner consultations, full class group work including collaborative discussions, debates, and presentations by instructors, students, and guest presenters.
